How much does electronic registered mail cost?
|
Access to the myCertipost services is free of charge. A fixed rate per addressee is applicable for the electronic registered mail. The printed electronic registered mail costs € 9.18 VAT excluded (€ 9.84 VAT included) per "paper" addressee.
This price consists of:
- The services provided by Certipost (€ 3,82 VAT included): Printing, putting into an envelope, mail preparation and delivery at De Post/La Poste
- The services provided by De Post/La Poste (€ 6,02): Postage charges, registered mail tax, acknowledgment of receipt
VAT calculation
VAT is only applicable on services offered by Certipost, i.e. the sending of the electronic registered mail to each addressee as well as the services related to the printed registered mails. This means you do not pay any VAT on the services provided by De Post/La Poste (postage - prepayments as per Article 28.5° of VAT Law). The VAT rate is 21 %.
