The legal framework is provided by the law of 3 June 2007, published in the Belgian State Gazette of 23 July 2007 (Law regarding various employment regulations – Chapter III – The use of the electronic signature for concluding employment contracts and the electronic delivery and archiving of specific documents in the context of the individual employment relationship).
